From the creators of the smash-hit De La Guarda, Fuerza Bruta is an event where worlds collide, dreams are real and reality takes a back seat. The visuals are spectacular. The effects are stunning. Performers run and tumble across a vertical wall of technicolor cloth, a man runs headlong through a wall - most extraordinary of all - performers dance in watery world just above the audience's heads. This all takes place to a soundtrack that traverses thumping club beats to the mellow sounds of new world music. Girls Night Out
In a unique twist, Girls Night Out features the men of Fuerza Bruta at the center of the action in one of the show's signature scenes - a mylar pool suspended just inches above the audience! Come watch, touch and feel the sexy men of Fuerza Bruta as they make their splash. Girls Night Out takes place the first Thursday of every month at 8pm.

This show is artistic in its creativity. Its not like anything else youve seen. The originality is not the only thing that makes this show good, it is fun in its abstract exciting activities. Makes a great date!

Fuerza Bruta
I have the highest regard for all those in the theater world who "put themselves out there" and try to do something different. However, sadly, Fuerza Bruta does not work. This is experimental theater that for me lacked cohesiveness and coherence. The production relies upon very, very loud sound effects, bursts of light, mist and "fog" and in general,shock tactics. Watch out for the water hose near the end. There are just a few moments of visual intrigue, such as is the case with the overhead water dancing. However, after a few moments, this too,became much less interesting. No one in my party of five could come up with any reasonable explanation of theme. If you are very young, you might enjoy the sudden cacophonic bursts and the wild dancing at the conclusion, in which the audience is invited to participate. I, for one, at this point, was trying to find the exit in the dark. Unfortunately, this was not an enjoyable experience for me, though I do respect the producers and actors for trying to "think out of the box."

Audiences who have long mourned the absence of De La Guarda, the international sensation where they could be lifted into the air at any moment, will happily greet the arrival of Fuerzabruta, an often-astounding new theatrical experience co-created by four De La Guarda veterans at that show's former home, the Daryl Roth Theatre. But while this 60-minute entertainment lives up to its name -- which means "Brute Force" -- it lacks the sheer sense of surprise of its predecessor. And no one will swoop down and fly you up to the ceiling either.
