Michael Chernus, Kristen Johnston, Tim Blake Nelson, et al. Set for Atlantic Theater's 10x25 Festival
The first series, running May 18-29, will include Ethan Coen's The Redeemers, Kia Corthron's Posh Pill, David Mamet's A Linguistics Class, Kate Moira Ryan's Master Class with Cassiopeia O'Hara, John Guare's Erased, Stephen Belber's Various Rigors, Lucy Thurber's Marriage, and David Pittu's Jacob Sterling, Distinguished Alumnus .
Series B, running June 1-12, will feature Leslie Ayvazian's There You Are, Annie Baker's Practice, Jez Butterworth's The Naked Eye, Tina Howe's Caution: This Bus Kneels. Stand Clear, Craig Lucas' The Sell, Keith Reddin's The New Paradigm, Edwin Sanchez's Smiling, and Bill Wrubel's The Backstage Life.
The final series in the festival, running June 15-26, will include David Auburn's Two Dads, Bekah Brunstetter's Run, Moira Buffini's Sold, Tom Donaghy's I Need a Quote, Kevin Heelan's As Himself, Peter Parnell's Dada Woof Papa Hot, Kate Robin's Inside Play, Sam Shepard's Evanescence, and Jeff Whitty's In Which I Tender My Resignation.
Among the directors slated to stage the pieces are authors Ayvazian, Baker, and Pittu, as well as Jaime Castaneda, Jackson Gay, Hilary Hinckle, Karen Kohlhaas, Matt McGrath, Christian Parker, Neil Pepe, Anya Saffir, Lucie Tiberghien, Todd Weeks, and Scott Zigler.
Among the artists scheduled to perform in one or more of the pieces are writers Pittu and Whitty, along with Talia Balsam, Reed Birney, Kate Blumberg, Larry Bryggman, Michael Chernus, Nick Choksi, John Early, Kathryn Erbe, Aaron Farenback-Brateman, Mikaela Feely-Lehmann, Glenn Fitzgerald, David Fonteno, Lisa Gorlitsky, Zackary Grady, Kristin Griffith, Rick Holmes, Michelle Hurst, Kristen Johnston, Jordan Lage, Peter Maloney, Mary McCann, Ben McKenzie, Rod McLachlan, Tim Blake Nelson, Stephen Park, Mary Beth Peil, Susan Pourfar, Omar Sangare, Christa Scott-Reed, Danielle Slavick, Joey Slotnick, Greg Stuhr, Ray Anthony Thomas, and Maria Tucci.
10x25 will have scenic design by Riccardo Hernandez, costume design by Katja Andreiev, lighting design by Eric Southern, and sound design by Tony Smolenski IV.
