Four-time MAC Award-winner Richard Skipper will present an Off-Broadway engagement of his critically acclaimed show, Richard Skipper as “Carol Channing” in Concert, at St. Luke’s Theatre, beginning December 22, with an opening on January 12. Mark Robert Gordon will direct.

The show celebrates the career and persona of theatrical legend Carol Channing, as portrayed by Skipper. Accompanied by a three-piece band, Skipper blends Channing’s standards with original material and other familiar songs. The musical surveys Channing’s life with many stops along the way for Skipper’s “ad-lib” interactions with the audience.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Dr. Carol Channing & Harry Kullijian Foundation for The Arts.
