Nick Adams, Deidre Goodwin, Bailey Hanks, Colin Hanlon, Garrett Long, Everett Quinton, et al. Set for FringeNYC Shows

Preliminary casting has been announced for several productions in the New York International Fringe Festival, which will run August 14-30 in various venues in downtown Manhattan.

Broadway veterans Deidre Goodwin, Bailey Hanks, and Morgan Karr will star in the new musical comedy Vote, by Ryan Ferguson and Steven Jamail. Ryan J. Davis will direct the production, which focuses on the electoral process from the perspective of three high school seniors. The cast will also include Landon Beard, Krystal Joy Brown, Andrew Christi, Robert W. Fowler, Kevin Michael Murphy, Micah Rapisand, Daniel Robinson, Alex Rolecek, Kate Roth, Reymundo Santiago, Christie Schwartzman, Nina Sturtz, and Tracy Weiler.

Everett Quinton, of the Ridiculous Theatrical Company, will star alongside Andy Halliday, Paul Pecorino, Chris Dell’Armo, Peter Cormican, Robert Berliner, Jeff Riberdy, and Jacques Mitchell in Devil Boys From Beyond, by Buddy Thomas. Kenneth Elliott will direct this comedy, set in the summer of 1957 and involving missing people, giant spaceships, muscle hunks, and men in pumps.

Forbidden Broadway‘s Janet Dickinson and Broadway veteran Garrett Long will lead the cast of Citizen Ruth, a new musical based on the Miramax motion picture, and featuring book and lyrics by Mark Leydorf, music by Michael Brennan, direction by Howard Shalwitz, choreography by Dan Knechtges, and music direction by Andrew Graham.

Other offerings include Jen & Angie, starring Sara Chase and Christina Casa; the backstage comedy Two on the Aisle, Three in a Van, starring Natascia Diaz and Jim Stanek; Far Out, a “sci-fi musical comedy” with a cast headed by Nick Adams and Spencer Liff; and Notes on the Land of the Earthquake & Fire, starring Chad Lindsay.
