Will Badgett, Francis Jue, Steven Rattazzi, et al. to Join Taylor Mac in The Walk Across America for Mother Earth

Casting for Taylor Mac’s The Walk Across America for Mother Earth, to run January 15 – 30 at La MaMa ETC. Paul Zimet will direct the production, which will have music by Ellen Maddow and will, as previously reported, be part of the Under the Radar Festival.
The play is based on Mac’s experiences in 1992, when, at age 18, he joined a ragtag group of political activists on a nine-month protest walk across America from New York to the Nevada Nuclear Test Site.
The company will feature Mac and Maddow, along with Will Badgett, Viva DeConcini, Daphne Gaines, Francis Jue, Steven Rattazzi, Tina Shepard, Jack Wetherall and Nikki Zialcita.
The creative team will include Machine Dazzle (costume design), Anna Kiraly (scenic design), and Lenore Doxsee (lighting design).
