Tony Award Winner Anna Manahan Dies at 84 logo
Anna Manahan, who won the 1998 Tony Award for her work in Martin McDonagh's The Beauty Queen of Leenane, has died at age 84, according to published reports.

Manahan's other stage work in the United States included the Broadway production of Brian Friel's Lovers, for which she earned a Tony Award nomination, as well as Sisters and The Matchmaker.

A popular figure on Irish and British television, Manahan also appeared in numerous films, including Ulysses, Hear My Song, and A Man of No Importance.
