Tina Fey Honored at New York Stage and Film Gala
Fey's ''Mean Girls'' begins performances at Broadway's August Wilson Theatre March 12.
New York Stage and Film's Winter Gala honored Tina Fey and Audible, Inc.'s founder and C.E.O., Don Katz, on December 5 at Pier 60 at Chelsea Piers. The Winter Gala, a fundraising event to support New York Stage and Film's year-round theater and film development initiatives, included cocktails, an auction, dinner, and entertainment from special guests in honor of Tina Fey and Don Katz.
Fey is best known for her role as Liz Lemon on her Emmy Award-winning comedy series 30 Rock. Before creating 30 Rock, Fey spent nine seasons as a writer and cast member on Saturday Night Live. The musical stage adaptation of her hit film Mean Girls will make its Broadway premiere at the August Wilson Theatre beginning March 12, 2018.
Katz is founder and C.E.O. of Audible, Inc., the leading provider of premium digital spoken audio information and entertainment.
