The York Theatre Company has announced plans for its upcoming 2013-2014 season, which will kick off on October 28 with a one-night concert of Six Wives by Joe Masteroff and Edward Thomas.

The season will also include a "New2NY" staged concert of Jack: A Musical Drama on the Life of John F. Kennedy (November 1-3) and a Developmental Lab presentation of Buddy's Tavern (November 13-15). December will bring the first of the season's mainstage productions, when Richard Maltby Jr. directs Stevie Holland and Gary William Friedman's Love, Linda: The Life of Mrs. Cole Porter. Stevie Holland will star in this look at the life of Linda Lee Thomas.

The Musicals in Mufti Series will run January through March, with production highlights including Sheldon Harnick's Dragons and Sheldon Harnick and David Glenn Armstrong's Malpractice Makes Perfect. The season's second mainstage production, Stephen Cole's Inventing Mary Martin, will be directed by Bob Richard and will run April 15-May 18.

The York Theatre Company is dedicated to developing and fully producing new musicals and preserving neglected, notable shows from the past.
