The Public Theater’s production of Gabriel Kahane and Seth Bockley’s new musical February House has been extended by one additional week. The musical will now run through Sunday, June 17 in The Public’s Martinson Theater.

Inspired by Sherill Tippens’ literary biography, February House explores the creation of a would-be artists commune in a dilapidated Brooklyn Heights boarding house in the early 1940s by literary editor George Davis (Julian Fleisher), who populated the home with the now-legendary figures Benjamin Britten (Stanley Bahorek), Peter Pears (Ken Barnett), Erika Mann (Stephanie Hayes), W.H. Auden (Erik Lochtefeld), Gypsy Rose Lee (Kacie Sheik), Chester Kallman (A.J. Shivley), and Carson and Reeves McCullers (Kristen Sieh and Ken Clark).

Directed by Davis McCallum, the production features scenic design by Riccardo Hernandez, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting design by Mark Barton, sound design by Leon Rothenberg, and choreography by Danny Mefford.
