Rob Campbell and Ana Reeder will star in the Edge Theater Company's production of Bathseba Doran's Living Room in Africa, which will play the Beckett Theater, March 13-April 15. The production, to be directed by Edge co-founder Carolyn Cantor, will open officially on March 22.

The show's cast will also include Marsha Stephanie Blake, Guy Boyd, Michael Chernus, and Maduka Steady. Its creative team will feature Edge co-founder David Korins (sets), Jenny Mannis (costumes), Matt Richards (lighting), Eric Shinn (sound), and Michael Friedman (original music).

The play concerns a British couple (played by Campbell and Reeder) who relocate to a remote African village, intent on opening an art museum. But within weeks of their arrival, they realize that they have settled in an area devastated by poverty and AIDS. Doran's other plays include Feminine Wash and The Parents' Evening.

Campbell and Reeder were last onstage together as part of the Obie-winning ensemble of Small Tragedy. He had the title role in Hamlet at the McCarter Theatre last year. His other New York stage credits include the Lincoln Center Festival production of The Orphan of Zhao, Gone Home, and The Illusion. Reeder recently starred in the world premiere of Stephen Belber's Carol Mulroney at Boston's Huntington Theatre Company. She co-starred on Broadway in Sight Unseen and Off-Broadway in Hedda Gabler, Humble Boy, and The Time of the Cuckoo.
