Three’s Company favorite Richard Kline will dance his way to Broadway as legendary showman Wladziu Valentino Liberace in the upcoming, “unauthorized” bio-musical All That Glitters, producers have announced. Written by Alexander DeJong, James A. Walsh, and Tom Nelson, the work will see its glittery Great White Way debut during the 2014-2015 season.

Along with writing the new musical, DeJong, who has been seen on Broadway in My Fair Lady and 42nd Street, also directs and choreographs. Liberace will be played by three actors, including Kline, as the show explores the performer’s rise from child prodigy to international star. The creative team includes noted fashion designer Bob Mackie (costumes), John Arnone (scenic design), Howell Binkley (lighting design), and Jack Lee (musical and vocal supervision).

All That Glitters is expected to have its world premiere in Toronto in fall 2014, with a Broadway opening on track for December of that year. AX Productions, Inc. will produce the show.
