Rebecca Naomi Jones (Big Love) will join the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch in the role of Yitzhak beginning Tuesday, April 14, at the Belasco Theatre.

Jones takes over the role from Tony winner Lena Hall, who plays her final performance as the roadie husband of East German transgender rock singer Hedwig on April 4. Understudy Shannon Conley will appear as Yitzhak from April 7-12. Both will star opposite John Cameron Mitchell, the show's cocreator, who takes on the role of Hedwig through April 26. Darren Criss begins a 12-week engagement as Hedwig beginning April 29.

Jones received a Lily Award and a Lucille Lortel Award nomination for her performance in the musical Murder Ballad. She has also been seen in American Idiot as Whatsername and Passing Strange as Desi (also at the Belasco Theatre). Her off-Broadway credits include The Fortress of Solitude, Love's Labour's Lost, This Beautiful City, and Wig Out!
