The Broadway production of Mamma Mia! welcomed its new principal cast members to the Winter Garden Theatre with a post-performance champagne toast on Monday, June 4.
As previously reported, Judy McLane assumed the role of Donna Sheridan after a seven-year run as Tanya.
She was joined by Felicia Finley as Tanya, Lauren Cohn as Rosie, Aaron Lazar, Daniel Cooney and Graham Rowat as Sam Carmichael, Bill Austin and Harry Bright, respectively, and Christy Altomare and Zak Resnick as Sophie Sheridan and her fiancee Sky.
Guests at the performance included Rowat’s wife, Kate Baldwin, Cooney’s wife, Jessica Grove, and Hunter Ryan Herdlicka.
Mamma Mia! uses the songs of ABBA as it follows the story of a forty-something mother planning her daughter’s wedding — unaware that the girl has invited three men who might be her father. The show has music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, is written by Catherine Johnson, and directed by Phyllida Lloyd.
