Olga Merediz to Appear on Food Network’s Throwdown with Bobby Flay

Tony Award nominee Olga Merediz will make a guest appearance on the Food Network’s Throwdown with Bobby Flay on Wednesday, March 10.
On the show, Flay surprises guests, who are invited to what they believe to be a Food Network profile, but end up competing with Flay to see if they truly are a master of their cooking field.
Merediz is currently on Broadway as Abuela Claudia in In the Heights. Her other theater credits the Broadway productions of Reckless, the 2002 revival of Man of La Mancha, Mamma Mia! and Les Miserables.
In addition to his work on the Food Network, Flay is the owner of such restaurants as Mesa Grill and Bar Americain and has authored numerous cookbooks.
