Nicole Kidman, Clive Owen, Parker Posey, Tony Shalhoub, David Strathairn, et al. to Star in HBO’s Hemingway & Gelhorn

Additional casting has been announced for HBO’s Hemingway & Gellhorn, a new telefilm about the relationship between writers Ernest Hemingway and Martha Gellhorn, according to Deadline.com.

Philip Kaufman will direct the film, which has been written by Barbara Turner and Jerry Stahl, and will be executive produced by James Gandolfini. It is expected to debut in 2012.

Joining previously announced stars Clive Owen and Nicole Kidman as the couple will be David Strathairn as John Dos Passos, Molly Parker as Pauline Hemingway, Parker Posey as Mary Hemingway, Rodrigo Santoro as Zarra, Lars Ulrich as Joris Ivens, Santiago Cabrera as Robert Capa, Saverio Guerra as Sidney Franklin, Peter Coyote as Maxwell Perkins, and Tony Shalhoub as Koltsov, a Russian journalist and apparatchik.
