Michael Mack will perform in the New York premiere of his solo show Conversations With My Molester: A Journey of Faith from July 14-August 2 at the Jewel Box Theatre as part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival. Boston stage veteran Daniel Gidron directs.

Conversations With My Molester spans four decades following Mack's childhood experience of clergy sexual abuse. The autobiographical play charts the crime, the wreckage, and Mack's eventual return to the Catholic Church. The production premiered in Boston in 2012, where it won an Artist Grant for Dramatic Writing from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Mack will present an audience talkback at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle, joined by its pastor Father Gil Martinez, on July 21 at 7pm. The talkback is free and open to the public.

Midtown International Theatre Festival's arts programs include The Short Play Lab, Cabaret MITF, the Commercial Division and the founding Midtown International Theatre Festival itself.
