Kitt and Other Stage Stars on Screen in Anything But Love logo
Eartha Kitt
Broadway legend Eartha Kitt, who recently assumed the role of film producer Liliane La Fleur in the Tony Award-winning Roundabout Theatre Company revival of Nine, is just one of several theater stars who appear in the new movie Anything But Love

Set for release by Samuel Goldwyn Pictures on November 7, Anything But Love stars Isabel Rose and Andrew McCarthy. The film tells the story of a young cabaret singer (played by Rose) who must choose between her dreams and the men in her life; it is set in New York City and was shot in the style of a 1950s Technicolor musical.

Kitt, who leapt to stardom when she sang "Monotonous" in New Faces of 1952 and whose last Broadway appearance was in The Wild Party, plays herself in the movie. The cast also includes Alix Korey (Chicago, 45 Seconds From Broadway), Ilana Levine (You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Wrong Mountain), Shannon Lewis (The Look of Love, Fosse), and Leslie Bell (Chicago, Steel Pier).

Anything But Love is rated PG-13 for strong language and innuendo. For more information, visit
