Keith Hamilton Cobb to Star in Pioneer Theater Company’s Find and Sign
Keith Hamilton Cobb — best known for his TV roles in Andromeda, All My Children, and The Young and the Restless — will lead the cast of The Pioneer Theater Company’s production of Wendy MacLeod’s Find and Sign. Presented as part of the theater’s “New Plays Initiative,” performances will be held at the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre in Salt Lake City, Utah, January 13-28. Charles Morey will direct.
Set in the New York City music industry, the play takes its audience through the bumpy romance between an on-the-rise music executive and an idealistic public school teacher. When one of the teacher’s students turns out to be a gifted young hip-hop artist whom her boyfriend wants to “find and sign” to a recording contract, their tentative romance is complicated by a tug-of-war over the student’s future.
Cobb will play Andre, with the cast also featuring Karl Miller (Iago), Gardner Reed (Mona), Daniel Morgan Shelley (Cal), Terrell Donnell Sledge (Mac), and Molly Ward (Julia).
The creative team will include set designer James Wolk, costume designer Pamela Scofield, lighting designer Dennis Parichy, and composer/sound designer Matthew Tibbs.
