Stage and screen star Julianne Moore will make a special appearance at a special benefit performance of the Off-Broadway musical, Freckleface Strawberry, to be held at MMAC Theatre on Saturday, December 10, at 3 pm.

Based on Moore’s children’s book of the same name, the show tells the story of a seven-year-old girl named Strawberry who is desperate to get rid of or disguise her plentiful freckles and fiery hair so that her classmates will stop making fun of her.

Buddy Crutchfield has directed the production, which has choreography by Gail Pennington Crutchfield. The show has music and lyrics by Gary Kupper, and a book by Gary Kupper and Rose Caiola.

The performance will benefit Save The Children, a leading independent organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need in the United States and around the world.
