John Cullum to Join Jack Klugman in George Street's The Value of Names
The play concerns Benny (Klugman), a retired comic whose career was derailed by the blacklist and who finally gets the opportunity to confront Leo (Cullum), his former best friend, who accused him of being a Communist.
Cullum is the winner of two Tony Awards for Shenandoah and On The Twentieth Century. His many other New York stage credits include On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, Camelot, Deathtrap, and All My Sons. He is best known to television viewers for his portrayal of Holling Vinocur on Northern Exposure.
Klugman has starred in numerous Broadway shows including Golden Boy, Gypsy, The Odd Couple, I'm Not Rappaport, and the revivals of The Sunshine Boys and Three Men on a Horse. He is best known for playing Oscar Madison on the TV sitcom The Odd Couple.
