Jens, Rogers, et al. Set for Revival of Sean O’Casey Plays

The New Globe Theatre will present the 50th anniversary revivals of Paul Shyre’s adaptations of Sean O’Casey’s autobiographical plays, I Knock at the Door and Pictures in the Hallway, to play in repertory at Theatre Three, November 24-December 23. The productions, which will be presented in a staged concert presentation, will be directed by Stuart Vaughan.

The cast will feature Salome Jens, Gil Rogers, John FitzGibbon, Grant Kretchik, Nancy McNulty, and Craig Rising. The show will feature set and lighting design by Bart Healy.

Vaughan directed the plays’ original Broadway production. He also directed the 1959 Broadway revival of The Great God Brown, as well as Off-Broadway productions of Richard III, Julius Caesar, King John, Abe Lincoln in Illinois, and Ghosts.
