Girl Talk: The Musical Moves Off-Broadway Engagement to Midtown Theatre

Louise Roche’s Girl Talk: the Musical, which had been playing at the Times Square Arts Center, has changed venues, and will now play at the Midtown Theatre, beginning with the evening performance on November 10. The show, directed by Tim Flaherty and Sonya Carter, will now officially open on December 5.

In the musical, the fictional radio program Girl Talk is about to end its 10 years on the air — and during its final broadcast, two sparring hosts, their favorite sex therapist guest and the show’s neurotic producer learn something about the friendships they’ve developed. Girl Talk will feature hit songs from such recording artists as Jennifer Lopez, Aretha Franklin, Carrie Underwood, and the Pointer Sisters.
