Full Cast Announce for the Encores! Production of The Most Happy Fella Starring Laura Benanti, Shuler Hensley, and Cheyenne Jackson

Full casting has been announced for the New York City Center Encores! production of Frank Loesser's The Most Happy Fella, which will run for seven performances from April 2-6. Tony winner Laura Benanti, Tony winner Shuler Hensley, and Cheyenne Jackson will star in the show, which will also feature Heidi Blickenstaff, Brian Cali, Bradley Dean, Zachary James, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Jessica Molaskey, and Kevin Vortmann.

The Most Happy Fella is the story of Tony (Shuler Hensley), an Italian-American grape farmer living in Napa, California. He's having a long-distance love affair with Rosabella (Laura Benanti), a much younger woman living in San Francisco. When she asks him to mail her a picture of himself, he instead sends one of his young and handsome farm foreman, Joe (Cheyenne Jackson). The production will be directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, with music direction by Rob Berman.

Additional cast will include Ryan Bauer-Walsh, Joseph Beutel, Ward Billeisen, Tanya Birl, Callie Carter, Daniel Curran, Kevin Grace, Steven Trumon Gray, Arlo Hill, Leah Horowitz, Andrea Jones-Sojola, Anne Kanengieser, Lizzie Klemperer, Eloise Kropp, Shina Ann Morris, Patricia Noonan, Lindsay O'Neil, Jessica Lea Patty, Aleks Pevec, Wayne Pretlow, Rachel Rhodes-Devey, Christopher Rice, Daniel Schwait, Manuel Stark, Sam Strasfeld, Kathryn Terza, Clay Thomson, and Kathy Voytko.
