Flashback Friday: Jeremy Jordan Was the First Prince Charming for Broadway's Newest Cinderella
Keke Palmer and Jeremy Jordan were perfect together in ''Joyful Noise''. Maybe "Someday" they'll reunite on Broadway.
When Keke Palmer steps into Cinderella's glass slippers for the first time on September 9, she'll be making her Broadway debut. But it won't be the first time this multitalented performer has taken the lead in a musical…or experienced true love's kiss with a Broadway leading man. In 2012, Palmer starred opposite Jeremy Jordan (not to mention Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah) in the feature film Joyful Noise. Palmer and Jordan play Olivia and Randy, the teenage dependents of two warring gospel-choir enthusiasts who (not to spoil it for you) find love despite their guardians' feud.
The two young talents were so perfect together that we're holding out for Jordan to join Palmer as Prince Charming to her Cinderella. After all, Jordan told us himself a few weeks ago, he makes a great "charming leading straight man." Watch this clip from Joyful Noise to decide for yourself if Jordan and Palmer are due to reunite on Broadway.
