Edward Gero, Sherri L. Edelen, et al. Set for Signature Theatre’s Sweeney Todd

Edward Gero will play the title role and Sherri L. Edelen will be Mrs. Lovett in Signature Theatre‘s revival of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s Sweeney Todd, to run February 9 – April 4. Eric Schaeffer will direct the production which will feature musical staging by Matthew Gardiner and musical direction by Jon Kalbfleisch.

The company will also feature Gregory Maheu (Anthony), Erin Driscoll (Joanna), Chris Van Cleave (Judge Turpin), Chris Sizemore (Beadle Bamford), Sam Ludwig (Tobias), Michael Bunce (Pirelli), Channez McQuay (Beggar Woman), along with Jean Cantrell, Matt Conner, Sean Maurice Lynch, Kevin McAllister, Katie McManus, Chris Mueller, Russell Sunday, Hannah Willman, and Weslie Woodley.

The creative team will include James Kronzer (scenic designer), Kathleen Geldard (costume designer), Chris Lee (lighting designer), Matt Rowe (sound designer), and Zak Sandler (orchstrations).
