Target Margin Theatre will present the world premieres of two new one-act plays on the same bill: The Argument, a solo piece written and performed by David Greenspan, and Dinner Party. The production will run June 14-30 and will open officially on June 16; it will be helmed by David Herskovits, the company’s artistic director.

The Argument, based on both Aristotle’s Poetics and the essays of Gerald F. Else, is a passionate student’s love letter and farewell to his teacher. Dinner Party is a loose adaptation of Plato’s Symposium; the cast features Han Nah Kim, Diana Konopka, Mary Neufeld, Steven Rattazzi, Greig Sargeant, Stephanie Weeks, and Ian Wen.

The production team includes Sarah Edkins (sets), Asta Bennie Hostetter (costumes), Lenore Doxsee (lighting), and Jane Shaw (sound).
