Casting has been announced for The Merry Wives of Windsor Towers, the first production of The Drilling Company’s Shakespeare in the Park(ing) Lot series. The production will run July 12-28 at the Municipal Parking Lot at the corner of Ludlow and Broome Streets. Hamilton Clancy will direct.

This adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor is set in imaginary Windsor Towers, a condo which has just gone up on the Lower East Side. The comic hero, John Falstaff, is a classic Lower East real estate man always looking for the next big score.

The cast will feature Dave Marantz (Falstaff), Karla Hendrick (Mistress Ford), Victoria Campbell (Mistress Page), Veronica Cruz (Mistress Quickly), Amanda Dillard (Ann Page), Jean Marc Russ (Master Page), Bill Green (Robert Shallow), Andrew Markert (Hugh Evans), Sajeev Pillai (The Host of the Garter), Grant Turnbull (Master Slender), Shane Mitchell (Master Fenton), Drew Valins (Dr. Caius), and Alessandro Colla (Pistol) as well as Michael Gnat, Leal Vona, Thoe Maltz, and Hailey Simmonds.

The design team will include Jennifer Varbalow (set design) and Lisa Renee Jordan (costume design).
