Broadway Photographer Leo Friedman Has Died

Photographer Leo Friedman has died of complications of pneumonia, according to a report in The New York Times. He was 92.

Friedman’s career encompassed photographing such Broadway musicals as West Side Story, My Fair Lady, Wildcat, I Can Get It For You Wholesale, Bye Bye Birdie, Irene, and Over Here!, as well as such plays as Eugene Ionesco’s Rhinoceros, starring Zero Mostel, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, with Zoe Caldwell, and the original production of Edward Albee’s Seascape.

He is survived by his wife, a son, and two grandchildren.
