Broadway in Bryant Park Concert Series Starts Today

Musical theater lovers who want to catch a weekday matinee without making their bosses mad, take note: Today is the kickoff concert of this year’s Broadway in Bryant Park series.

From June 27 to August 15, the park is hosting Thursday afternoon “lunch-time” performances featuring numbers from Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals. Sponsored by 106.7 LITE FM, the concerts are free to the public and will take place from 12:30pm to 2pm. They will be hosted (alternately) by LITE FM’s Al Bernstein, JJ Kennedy, Steve Roy, Bill Buchner, and Valerie Smaldone.

Midtown Manhattan’s Bryant Park is located between 5th and 6th Avenues, between 40th and 42nd streets. This is the second year of the Broadway in Bryant Park series, which was a big hit with theater mavens and burgeoning fans alike last summer. The schedule of performances follows:
