Benedict Cumberbatch to Star in New York Premiere of Letters Live

Benedict Cumberbatch will star in the New York premiere of Letters Live, running May 18-19 at Town Hall.
Letters Live celebrates the enduring power of literary correspondence by inviting brilliant actors to perform remarkable and unforgettable letters to a live audience. Additional celebrity cast members will join Cumberbatch for these events. Some will be announced beforehand; the rest will be a surprise.
Inspired by Shaun Usher's international best-selling Letters of Note series and Simon Garfield's To the Letter, Letters Live premiered in December 2013 at the Tabernacle in London. Each show always features a completely different array of great performers, reading remarkable letters written over the centuries and from around the world.
