Bean, Fogler, Gersten, Newhouse, Socarides Set for The Rise and Fall of Annie Hall

Noah Bean, Dan Fogler, Kate Gersten, Erica Newhouse, and Charles Socarides will star in Stage 13’s production of Sam Forman’s The Rise and Fall of Annie Hall, to run October 24-November 9 at the Lion Theatre at Theatre Row. The production, which will open officially on October 26, will be directed by Sam Gold.

The play focuses on a neurotic young playwright’s attempt to turn Woody Allen’s Annie Hall into a musical. Forman’s previous work includes I Sing! and Fringical!

The creative team includes Dane Laffrey (sets and costumes), Ben Stanton (lighting), and Jane Shaw (sound). Gold’s prior directing credits include Jollyship the Whizbang, Rag and Bone, The Black Eyed, and The Joke.

The company will also be holding a benefit at 8pm on Monday, October 20 at Bar 13 (35 East 13th Street), to be attended by the show’s cast and special guests including Jeffrey Ross, Seth Herzog, and the Gazillionaire. Call 212-868-4444 for benefit tickets.
