Amra-Faye Wright will once again play Velma Kelly in the Broadway production of Chicago, at the Ambassador Theatre, beginning tonight, February 2.

It has also been announced that Marco Zunino has extended his run as Billy Flynn through March 4, and Bianca Marroquin has extended her engagement as Roxie Hart through April 5. The cast also features Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and Carol Woods as Matron “Mama” Morton.

Wright comes back to the Broadway production directly from the West End, where she re-opened the London production at the Garrick Theatre last November. Her other theatrical credits include Footloose, Grease, A Chorus Line, and Nunsense!.

As previously reported, world-renowned supermodel Christie Brinkley returns to the Broadway production in the role of Roxie Hart on Friday, April 6. She will play a three-week limited engagement before headlining the musical’s national tour.

Chicago has been directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking. The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).
