Amelia Campbell and Laura Heisler will join Tony Award winner Michele Pawk in Joel Drake Johnson’s drama The Fall to Earth, June 27-July 20 at Penguin Rep in Stony Point, New York. The production will be directed by Joe Brancato, the company’s artistic director.

The play concerns Fay (Pawk) and Rachel (Heisler), a mother and daughter brought together for the first time in years, and the well-meaning cop (Campbell) who gets caught in the middle of their funny if frustrating relationship.

Pawk won the Tony Award for Hollywood Arms, and has starred on Broadway in Mamma Mia!, Cabaret, and Crazy for You. Campbell received a Tony nomination for Our Country’s Good and appeared Off-Broadway in Tryst, also directed by Brancato. Heisler’s New York stage credits include Coram Boy and Doris to Darlene, and she will appear next month in the McCarter Theatre’s production of A Seagull in the Hamptons.

The company’s 2008 season will also include Richard Vetere’s comedy The Vows of Penelope Corelli (May 16-June 8), Richard Strand’s comedy Ten Percent of Molly Snyder (August 14-September 7), and Susan Hill’s thriller The Woman in Black (October 10-November 2). In addition, the company’s Children’s Theatre Festival, to be presented by the Vital Theatre Company, will include The Bully (July 8), Pinkalicious (July 15-16), and A (Tooth) Fairy Tale (August 19-20).

Penguin will also present The Devil’s Music: The Life and Music of Bessie Smith on September 20-21 at Riverspace Arts in Nyack, and Neil Berg’s Enchanted Evening on September 27 at the Rockland Community College Cultural Arts Center in Suffern.
