Abingdon Theatre Company Announces New Productions logo
The Abingdon Theatre Company has announced four of the five shows that will comprise its 2003-2004 season.

Two plays will be offered on the company's mainstage. John Petrick's Beyond Recognition (October 17-November 23), to be directed by Kate Bushmann, tells the story of a therapist struggling with his self-identity and with memories of his brutal beating in Central Park. Ann Noble's The Pagans (February 27-April 24), to be directed by Stephen Hollis, concerns a son's return to his Irish home and the resentments and rivalries that he and his family must face.

The Stage II season will include Margaret Hunt's The Maginot Line (September 19-28), about the search for a mysterious Christmastime killer; and Jan Buttram's Texas Homos (January 23-February 1), a comedy about a lawyer preparing for the arraignment of three of his clients. Stage II will also be home to another play, yet to be announced.

All performances will be held at the new Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex, located on the first floor of 312 West 36th Street (between Eighth and Ninth avenues). For ticket information, call SmartTix at 212-868-4444 or visit For additional information about Abingdon, visit
