Broadway’s Ray Mercer, Luis Salgado, et al. to Choreograph for Dance From the Heart | Men

Four programs of new choreography will be presented as part of Dance from the Heart | MEN, to be offered at 6:30pm and 8:30pm on January 11-12 at the Cedar Lake Theatre. The performances will benefit Dancers Responding to AIDS (DRA), a fundraising program of Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

The program will showcase the talents of some of the finest male dancers, companies and choreographers working today. For the programs on the 11th, Broadway performers Ray Mercer, Luis Salgado, Darrell Grand Moultrie, and Josh Bergasse will create dances which will be performed by cast members from the companies of The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Memphis, and West Side Story.

The event will also feature performances from Marcelo Gomes, Jamar Roberts, Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Parsons Dance, Stephen Petronio Company, Danny Tidwell, Ballet Hispanico, Feliciano Dance Company, The DASH Ensemble, Janis Brenner & Dancers, Adam Barruch, and Gregg Russell.
