Hairspray, Les Miserables, and More Set for Paper Mill Playhouse’s All-Musical 2010-2011 Season

The Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ has announced the quintet of shows that it will offer during its all-musical 2010-2011 season.

Hairspray, written by Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman, Thomas Meehan, and Mark O’Donnell, will start the year off, running September 22 – October 17. Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg’s Les Miserables will then run November 19 – December 19.

In the new year, the theater will produce William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin’s The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (January 10 – February 13); Stephen Sondheim, Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart’s A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (March 16 – April 20); and the musical murder mystery Curtains (April 27 – May 22) by John Kander, Fred Ebb, Peter Stone, and Rupert Holmes.
