PHOTO FLASH: Jessica Bogart, Matt Bogart, Jeremiah James et al. at Broadway Under the Stars

Broadway veterans and married couple Jessica Bogart and Matt Bogart, along with West End veteran Jeremiah James participated in The Development Wing’s one-night-only benefit concert, entitled Broadway Under the Stars, at the historic Tewksbury, New Jersey home of Cherie King on Sunday, July 24.

Composer, lyricist and book writer Jonathan Brielle, artistic director of The Development Wing, served as both master of ceremonies and performer as he authored the three musicals presented that evening: Himself & Norah, Nightmare Alley, and 40 Naked women, a Monkey and Me.

Performers also included vocalists Sheila Coyle, Nikki Switzer, Tonya Thompson, and Vivian Sessoms; trombonist Michael Davis; trumpeter, Jim Hynes; bassist Conrad Korsch; keyboard master Ken Levinsky, reed player Charles Pillow, guitarist Larry Saltzman; drummer Terry Silverlight and saxophonist Andy Snitzer.

The Development Wing is dedicated to nurturing new musicals via partnerships with regional not for profit theaters.
