Maryland's Round House Theatre will celebrate the works of Tony Kushner during its upcoming 2016-2017 season.

The season will kick off with a 25th-anniversary production of Kushner's iconic drama Angels in America. The Olney Theatre Center coproduction will feature both parts of the play, Millennium Approaches and Perestroika, presented in rotating repertory from September 7-October 30. Jason Loewith and Ryan Rilette will direct.

Next up, for the holiday season, is the rolling world premiere of Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon's Pride and Prejudice-inspired Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, running November 23-December 18. Eleanor Holdridge serves as director.

The Kushner celebration continues with the January 25-February 26 run of Caroline, or Change, Kushner's musical coauthored with Jeanine Tesori. Matthew Gardiner will direct. Liz Duffy Adams' Or, follows from April 12-May 2. Aaron Posner will direct. August Wilson's How I Learned What I Learned closes the season from June 7-July 12, with direction by coconceiver Todd Kreidler.
