Maureen McGovern, Lari White, Alan and Marilyn Bergman Set for March 15 Musical Mondays

Maureen McGovern and Lari White will join award-winning songwriters Alan and Marilyn Bergman for Musical Mondays series, to take place at 7:30pm on Monday, March 15 at the Pantages Theatre Lobby in Los Angeles. The event, which will benefit the Actors Fund, will be moderated by ASCAP’s Michael Kerker.

The Bergmans have written many of the world’s best-known songs, including “The Way We Were” and “The Windmills of Your Mind,” for which they won the Academy Award. They wrote the lyrics for the hit movie Yentl and the Broadway show Ballroom, among other accomplishments.

McGovern’s Broadway credits include Little Women and The Pirates of Penzance. She recorded the Oscar-winning themes to The Poseidon Adventure and The Towering Inferno. She is currently touring with her new show A Long and Winding Road. White is an award-winning singer and songwriter and starred on Broadway in Ring of Fire.
