Graham Phillips, Krystina Alabado to Lead West Coast Sunday in the Park With George

Sarna Lapine will direct the production at the Pasadena Playhouse.

Graham Phillips and Krystina Alabado will lead the California premiere of Sarna Lapine's revival of Sunday in the Park With George, running February 14-March 19 at the Pasadena Playhouse.

Phillips (13) will play George, with Alabado (Mean Girls) as Dot/Marie. They will be joined by Michael Manuel as Jules/Bob, Emily Tyra as Yvonne/Naomi, Liz Larsen as Old Lady/Blair, Armand Akbari as Soldier #2/Ensemble, Jenni Barber as Celeste #2/Waitress, Pippa Blaylock as Louise, Brian Calì as Boatman/Lee, Jennie Greenberry as Nurse, Trevor James as Soldier/Alex, Robert Knight as Louis/Charles, Deborah Lew as Frieda/Betty, Alexandra Melrose as Mrs./Harriet, Juliana Sloan as Celeste #1/Waitress, Jimmy Smagula as Mr./Billy, and Jason Michael Snow as Franz/Dennis. Ensemble members and swings include Marc Ginsburg, Brianna Pember, Savannah L. Jackson, Matthew McCoy, and Allison Belinkoff.

Lapine's production of the Stephen Sondheim-James Lapine classic is choreographed by Alison Solomon, musical directed by Andy Einhorn, and designed by Beowulf Boritt (sets), Clint Ramos (costumes), Ken Billington (lighting), Danny Erdberg and Ursula Kwong-Bown (sound), Tal Yarden (projections), and Christopher Enlow (wigs).
