The full cast and creative team from the Kirk Douglas Theatre production of Rajiv Joseph’s Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo will return to the piece when it plays April 14 – May 30 at the Mark Taper Forum. Moisés Kaufman will once again direct.

The play is set against the backdrop of the war in Iraq, in which the lives and, in some cases, the afterlives of two American soldiers, an Iraqi translator, the ghost of Saddam Hussein’s son Uday, and a Bengal tiger all intersect in a surreal, darkly humorous and gently balanced view of war and its aftermath. The company will feature Glenn Davis, Brad Fleischer, Arian Moayed, Kevin Tighe, Hrach Titizian, Sheila Vand, and Necar Zadegan.

The creative team will include Derek McLane (scenic design), David Zinn (costume design), David Lander (lighting design), Cricket S. Myers (sound design), and Kathryn Bostic (original music).
