Full casting has been announced for John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men, to be presented at Pasadena Playhouse, May 2-June 8, with an opening set for May 9.

This powerful portrait of two men’s quest for the American dream is given a provocative make-over by director Paul Lazarus, looking at the story through the prism of 1942 California, a time when thousands of Hispanic migrant workers crossed the border to pursue dreams of a better life for their families.

The cast will include Joshua Bitton (Curley), Curtis C. (Crooks), Sol Castillo (Whit), Josh Clark (Boss), Madison Dunaway (Mae), Al Espinosa (Lennie), Thomas Kopache (Candy), Alex Mendoza (Slim), Gino Montesinos (Carlson), and David Noroña (George).

The creative team will include D. Martyn Bookwalter (scenic design), Rita Salazar-Ashford (costume design), Lonnie Rafael Alcaraz (lighting design), and Bruno Louchouarn (original music and sound design).
