David Hasselhoff will appear in the CBS pilot for the new series Same Name, according to a report on Deadline.com. The show is slated to debut this summer.

On the reality series, each self-contained episode will feature a well-known personality who switches places with a person who shares his or her name, identically. For one week, the star and his or her counterpart experience how the other lives. For Hasselhoff, this will mean traveling to Lake Jackson, Texas to trade places with a 27-year-old high-voltage power technician/landscaper.

Hasselhoff starred in the title roles of the Broadway musical Jekyll & Hyde and played Roger DeBris in the Las Vegas production of The Producers and Billy Flynn in the London production of Chicago.

Hassellhoff’s television credits include the popular series Knight Rider, Baywatch, Baywatch Nights, America’s Got Talent, and Dancing With the Stars. He is also a recording artist.
