Ruthie Henshall to Headline Benefit Concert for Suffolk Family Carers

Olivier Award winner Ruthie Henshall will headline the benefit concert, Care for a Song, in support of Suffolk Family Carers, to be held at the Ipswich Regent on Sunday, December 5.

Henshall, who is currently starring on Broadway as Roxie Hart in Chicago, will perform hits from musicals such as Les Miserables, Chicago, Evita, West Side Story, and Hairspray. Additional entertainment for the benefit will be determined through auditions. For information on how to apply, call 07787002178.

Henshall won an Olivier Award for her performance as Roxie, and has previously appeared on Broadway in Chicago, playing Velma Kelly, as well as Putting It Together and Miss Saigon. Among her other U.K. credits are Marguerite, Cats, Les Miserables, and Oliver! As previously reported, she will star in a Sounds Of Hollywood U.K. concert tour beginning in October.
