Matthew Cutts, Anna Francolini Set for Southwark Playhouse's Victor/Victoria logo

Full casting has been announced for the Southwark Playhouse Vault's production of the musical comedy Victor/Victoria, October 25-December 15. Thom Southerland will directed the production,

The musical, which is based on the 1982 film, features a book by Blake Edwards, music by Henry Mancini, lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, and additional musical material by Frank Wildhorn.

Set in 1930s Paris, the musical follows poor British soprano Victoria, who is rescued by nightclub performer Toddy and convinced to dress herself as Count Victor Grazinski and become a female impersonator.

Anna Francolini will play Victoria Grant and Count Victor Grazinski, alongside Matthew Cutts (King Marchand), Richard Dempsey (Toddy), Michael Cotton, Mark Curry, Dafydd Gwyn Howells, Luke Johnson, Natalie Kent, Ashley Knight, Amira Matthews, Kate Nelson, Matthew Pennington, Jean Perkins, Kayleigh Ross, and Nick Stuart.

Featured on the creative team are Lee Proud (choreography), Joe Atkins (musical direction), Martin Thomas (scenic and costume design), Howard Hudson (lighting design), and Andrew Johnson (sound design).
