Mackenzie Crook, Ralf Little, Olly Alexander to Star in Annie Baker’s The Aliens in London

Broadway and London stage veteran Mackenzie Crook will star alongside Ralf Little and Olly Alexander in the UK premiere of Annie Baker’s play The Aliens to play the Bush Theatre in London, September 15-October 16, according to Whatsonstage.com. Peter Gill will direct the production.

The play focuses on Jasper (Crook) and KJ (Little), a pair of professional dropouts and best friends who spend their days outside the back of a small coffee shop, who form a relationship with Evan (Alexander), a 17-year-old eking out his summer working in the café.

Baker’s other plays include Circle Mirror Transformation and Body Awareness. She has won the Obie Award and received a special citation from the New York Drama Critics Circle.

Gill was founder of Riverside Studios and the National Theatre. His recent directing credits include The Importance of Being Earnest, Gaslight, The Voysey Inheritance, and Scenes from the Big Picture.
