Daniel Evans Named Artistic Director for Sheffield Theaters

Tony nominee Daniel Evans will be the new artistic director of the U.K.-based Sheffield Theaters, according to Variety. He replaces Samuel West, who has been the artistic director for the last two years. Evans will begin part-time April 20, and step into a full-time position beginning June 1.
Evans received Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations for his performance as Georges/George in Sunday in the Park With George. He also received an Olivier Award for the same role in the London production.
