Casting Announced for Hampstead Theatre’s Tiger Country

Hampstead Theatre has announced complete casting for Nina Raine’s Tiger Country, to run January 13 – February 5, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Playwright Raine will direct the production.

The piece focuses on the men and women who work at a busy London hospital. The company will feature David Cann, Pip Carter, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Ruth Everett, Adam James, Thusitha Jayasundera, Joan Kempson, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Maggie McCarthy, Nicolas Tennant, and Harvey Virdi.

The creative team will include Lizzie Clachan (production design), Rick Fisher (lighting design), and Fergus O’Hare (sound design).

In related news, it has been announced that Druid Theatre’s production of Enda Walsh’s Penelope will play at the Hampstead, running January 19 – Febrruary 5. The company will feature Niall Buggy (Fitz), Denis Conway (Dunne), Aaron Monaghan (Burns), Karl Shiels (Quinn) and Olga Wehrly.
