A Chorus Line, Hairspray, 9 to 5 and More Set for Bass Hall and Casa Mañana in 2010-2011

Performing Arts Fort Worth and Casa Mañana have announced the lineup of both touring and original productions that will be seen at the Bass Performance Hall and Casa Mañana Theatre during the 2010-2011 season.

The Broadway at the Bass season will begin with an engagement of Cirque Dreams’ Illumination (November 30 – December 5). In the new year, the series will include the tours of The Ten Tenors (February 23-27), A Chorus Line (March 29 – April 3), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (April 19-24), Jesus Christ Superstar (June 16-22), and 9 to 5: The Musical (July 26-31).

The four-play lineup of original productions for the Broadway at Casa Mañana series will begin with Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music (September 11-19), followed by The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (October 23-31), Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Evita (February 5-13), and Hairspray (August 13-21).
