The Neo-Futurists Announce 24th Season

The Neo-Futurists have announced the productions set for their upcoming 24th season.

The season will open with 44 Plays for 44 Presidents (October 4-November 10), curated by Andy Bayiates, a remount of the 2001 hit 43 Plays for 43 Presidents which is a biographical survey of the lives and presidencies of each of the men who have held the office. In the new year, The Neo-Futurists will present the world premiere of Kurt Chiang’s Analog (February 18-April 6), an exploration of routine, ritual, and the concept of fate. Later in the season will be the world premiere of The Miss Neo-Futurist Pageant (May 16-June 22), created by Megan Mercier. This spin on American beauty pageant forms explores the challenges of gender and societal identity.

In addition, The Neo-Futurists will continue to present their signature show Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind: 30 Plays in 60 Minutes every weekend except December 21-23 and December 28-30.
